Hey guys, super quick tip blog post on using hand sanitizer
to clean brushes. I heard about this on the SkullBrosAwesome Podcast (you need
to listen if you don’t already) (http://www.skullbrosawesome.com/)
and thought I would give it a go! Really simple, leave your brushes coated in
the hand sanitizer for 30minutes or so (make sure you rub in thoroughly) then
brush your brushes into a plastic tub and watch how the paint pours out! I
finished it off by washing my brush in running water. BOOM!!! Brand new looking
brushes! The bristles also seemed to soften back to the original softness when
I bought them. Seriously awesome tip, try it out!
That's a fantastic tip! I think combining this with something like brush soap would help maintain and clean up the worst brushes imaginable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I keep getting comments in my videos to clean my brushes, so I'll give this a try.
ReplyDeleteNo probs guys :) Nice Idea Greg, will try that out too :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing tip. I usually clean mine with vinegar and water. I think that hand sanitizer will work perfectly , too. I love your blog. Keep posting!
