Scale75 Smog Riders

Apologies for any mis-formatting or typing in the post. I'm writing from my phone, at my mother in laws.

Recently I was reading figure painter magazine (which will be a topic of another post eventually) and saw some models I had to have; the scale75 Smog Riders
The aim of these is to help improve your painting, and for me they seem to have worked.
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Each model comes with a small set of instructions, nicely printed, and more instructions available on the Smog Riders website.
The instructions are OK, but do lack some detail. It covers the colors to use (scale75 ones that you can optionally buy as a kit with the models) which are easy enough to match to other brands. There are only 3 stages for each part explained, which isn't enough for some things, and not everything is explained properly. I'm unsure as to how they painted the eyepatch on Colonel Clayton, for example. Overall though, they're useful to make and it's not hard to pick apart the process used for some bits.
The models them selves are lovely though. Well worth the money. I got mine from Model Display Products (I think). They weren't on the site but a quick email have some winging my way.

Overall, I love them. I'll post finished shots when I'm done.
Joe
