It's ok, they're not a real army!

This weekend (18th and 19th of April) sees the 2015 editon of an annual stalwart of the Scottish Warhammer tournament calender - Storm Over Stirling.

So the observant among you will have noticed a few hopefully interesting details

Thats right, no Heroic Killing Blow for me, not a HoirsiHoirsi in sight. Just a few wicked stunties and all the artillery I could lay my hands on.

I decided to go for something different from my normal Bretonnians for 5 reasons:

1) I like to try new things
2) I could easily borrow the army from the Space Pirate
3) I like artillery
4) I really really like Artillery
5) They have an actual steam engine in the army... A STEAM ENGINE!!!!!

Am I confident I will do well?
Yes

Is this confidence completely unfounded?
Totally

Will I make noises like this fella when I move the Iron Deamon?

DAMF F-KING RIGHT I WILL!!!
Not to be too serious I have been trying to work out how best to play to my, and the armies strengths. I think the list I have come up with does that well. A few, strong characters and a power unit to build the army round. My main concern is that I will struggle with some of the scenarios in the pack and fortitude of 5 isn't the greatest (especially as 4 is in one unit)

Game 1 is a grudge against Greig Summers of the Fizzy Drink Gamers club and I'm pretty certain he'll be bringing the pain in the form of a Legions of Chaos list.

Deamon Princes love artillery, right?

See you in the funny pages!

  1. I predict you will get well bored of the army by game 3 and the only thing to keep you entertained after that will be pushing your steam engine around saying choo-choo.
