PatioHammer!

Hey guys! Scott, Mike, Joe and I met up at the weekend to do a little gaming at Scott’s. The weather was glorious so we decided to play outside in the scotching heat (I burned profusely despite a recent holiday!!). We had a great time and each got two games. This was the first outing of the OrcOgres being fully painted (we played 2600 first round however so I had to use 3 unpainted models lol

First up I played Mikes dwarfs (dorfs). This was pretty crazy game with bad and amazing luck for both of us and some spectacular dice rolling! The game ended in a few big brawls and final barrage of dwarven gunfire killing off my Irongut unit. This game ended in a 15-5 win to Mike!

My second game I played Scott’s daemons. Another bizarre game with some big swings for both of us. We each wiped out our opposing right flanks and swung round for a second pass. I got a cheeky reform and was able to charge his Lord of Change which won me the game. All I had left was my ironguts and characters while scott only had his Fiends and one horror unit. The game ended on a 13-7 to me!

All in all a great day, Mike won over all and won the PayneHammer Trophy for most points scored in a phase.

Really looking forward to CryHavok, I have a load of games planned for the run up against Christian Whyte, Joe Ward, Jamie, Tim G and maybe a cheeky game on UB!
