Woah Im tired lol! Was up really late last night finishing
off these Dragon OrcOgre Mournfang but really glad I powered through! Honestly
some of the nicest plastics GW produce and it is such a shame they are so
infrequently seen! Really went to town with the green skin tones this time
trying my best to get the blends as best I can, probably spent on average 5
hours a model batch painting them so it
was a big effort. The process took a lot longer than I thought due to sheer
number of scales and the huge surface area of them. To be honest I think I will
go back and add another highlight to the red and turquoise scales to really make them pop as the
highlights are bit lost on them.
So where does this leave me for preparing for Cry Havoc? I
still have the following to do:
·
3 Mournfang (more Dragon Ogres)
·
5 Leadbelchers
·
5 Movement Trays need finished
·
1 Warpig (Sabretusk)
·
Freehand on the two banners….Shit scared about
doing this…..
I’ve got 7 weeks to get all of the above done so shouldn’t be
a problem to be honest. My aim is to also complete the Rock Idol, a Firebelly
and 2 more Ironguts by the end of May. After that I am going to take a break
from painting for the summer so I can really focus on exercise (should be 100%
fit after my cycling accident), other life stuff and playing games with
friends!
Anyway let me know what you thinking of the Dragon OrcOgres guys!
Always appreciate critical feedback!
